Generator Hostel is a good hostel that leans on the more pricey side of accommodations. If you are looking for a more comfortable hostel that resembles more of a hotel; this is the hostel for you!
Pros:
- Many reasonably priced meals available at the restaurant.
- Friendly staff who are willing to answer any questions about the city.
- Well designed and aesthetically pleasing lounge and dorm rooms.
- Friendly environments perfect for meeting new travel friends.
- Amazing view of the city from the front entrance.
- two minutes from Zitelle Vaporetto stop.
Cons:
- No outside food allowed in the building.
- Expensive for hostel pricing.
- Off the main island; therefore must purchase €7.50 one-way Vaporetto (water bus) tickets
- Recommend purchasing the 3-day Rolling Venice card for €22 (under 29 yrs.)
