The Best Breakfast Berry Smoothie

Serving size: 2 smoothies

Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium size banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup Greek or coconut yogurt
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1-1/4 cup almond milk or other milk alternative
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

How to make Smoothie:

  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. (1-3 minutes depending on blender)
  2. Recommend frozen fruits as they will create a more thicker smoothie. If you don’t have frozen fruits simply add 1/2 a cup of ice to the blender.
  3. Once blended, divide mixture between 2 cups for serving.
  4. Add an assortment of berries on top as garnish and serve with a straw or spoon.
