Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 4 orange pekoe tea bags (or tea of choice)
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1 juiced lime
- Mint (garnish)
How to Make Iced Tea
- In a large saucepan, heat 3 cups of water until boiled.
- Remove from heat and add 4 tea bags to water.
- Cover and let steep for about 1 hour.
- Once the hour has passed, remove the tea bags from the steeped water.
- In a serving pitcher, combine the steeped tea, 4 additional cups of cold water and sugar.
- Stir until sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add lime juice.
- Refrigerate until completely chilled.
- Serve in glass.
- Add ice and garnish with mint (optional).
- Enjoy.
